after searching i couldnt find anything. well im in my third battery in less than 2 years for my 03 400ex so im gonna buy a battery tender. after looking in ebay it seems they want to sell u a different type for each type of bike or quad. Does it matter at all. I thought they were all the same can somebody chime in. Thanks in advance.
sears sells a maintenance charger that does the same as the battery tender. it is around $30. i have 2 of them, one for each bike

I've been using one of these for ages. Works on all 12v vehicle batteries. It's one tough unit. I couldn't tell you how many times I've tripped over the extension cord and sent the thing flying onto the garage floor. Mine's also been in continuous use for over 5 years. It just keeps going....

I'm sure there are others that are also good units, but I know this one is.
