SHOEI OR ARAI! Once you wear one you'll never wear anything else.

Exactly. most people do not realize the extra quality that goes into a good helmet. they see teh $400+ price tag ans say "what makes that better than this $100 one?" once you wear one, you will understand. personally i own a THOR Force helmet, and it fits great, but my next one with be a Shoei, Arai, or a suomy helmet. all three are great companies and have great fitments.

There are alot of good quality helmets on the market. Arai, Shoei, Fox, Troy Lee Designs, Thor and alot of other helmets are great helmets. I prefer Arai, Shoei and TLD. TLD is proboly my favorite helmet in overal comfort, style and just how much i like the helmet.

I like the way the Fox ones look but I personally run a Shoei helmet. It fits my head like a glove and is really lightweight. I also like how simple it is to remove the lining and do a complete wash down after rides. Definitely a quality helmet I would buy one again!
Depends on how much you would like to spend. The One industries trooper is a good bang for the buck.
Too many kids are getting hurt riding dirtbikes, (as i understand you ride a yz125).
I would'nt consider anything under the trooper, I wear an HJC helmet, one of the top of the line ones, and i still dont feel it offers enough protection. Take 250, buy a trooper and save for a laett brace.
You can choose any one of the following;

i love HJC's. Seems to be the only kind that fits right for me. I use a CL-X5 right now. Once I buy my street bike, i will be getting a shoei or arai for sure!

I have a TLD, and they are great helmets. Thor Force helmets are also great and not as expensive as a TLD.

Thanks, price isn't really a factor to me because I rather spend the extra money instead of being in the hospital.

I wouldn't trade my Arai VX-Pro3 for anything. It's like slipping a Maybach on your head.

i personally am obsessed with the One Troopers. i probably will never own anything else. if i did though it would probably be a 661 (really cool helmet style) Arai, or Suomy
