i was curious about what every one is calling a leak jet? I know quite a bit about carbs and stuff but have never herd what a leak jet is, are you talking about a pilot jet?

when you push the throttle the accelereator pump linkage pushes down on a diaphragm, which pumps fuel through a circuit that has a leak jet which lets a certain amount of fuel leak back into the float bowl but if the throttle is pushed enough then theres more pressure in the curcuit than can bleed back through the leak jet and it makes it to the spray nozzle in the carbs throat.

you will find the leak jet in the bottom of the float bowl, it is not the pilot, but helps regulate the accelerator pump, pretty sure the above explanation is correct.
