anyone running a dave moore ported jug ?

just bought one on e-gay for cheap. supposed to be a fast jug.anyone running his work?

He's my current builder and has built a few in the past for us. I've been around a few in the area. Dave does great work, great customer service and support. He's a good person to know.

I do not know personally for an R jug but my friend had his Blaster jug worked as well as other motor work and it ran like hell for a Blaster afterwards. Big improvement and had a good broad powerband, I felt it was a good port job but it also might depend on what style of porting was done if you'll like it or not for your riding style.

i talked to him on the phone about the jug.he remembers it as being very fast and a drag setup. i will get it decked to lower the exhaust port to get it less peaky and smooth out the delivery. neil ported the jug im running now and its a handfull on the trails!:D

Decking that cylinders not going to get it in the power range your looking for.

your jug runs good neil ,but i dont think its gonna take me out !!!i bought the jug for dragging.i just need to bring the rpm down a little as the original owner weighed in at 130 lbs.im aware it wont be a woods jug.:D

it would be very difficult and dangerous to run a jug like like in the woods!!how bout that drag jug combined with a spider-trac or some mud tire !!!! LOOK AT THE PRETTY SKY......BANG!!!!:D
