As I'm sure you all have heard on the news there was another shooting last night and another death at the hands of this mad man. I live in the heart of this madness and I can tell you it's hard to go out anywhere without feeling afraid that any minute this phycho could blow your brains out. It's amazing how scared everyone is in this area and the stress you can see in everyone as you go about your day. Please pray for the victims and pray that law enforcement catches this person before he has a chance to strike again. Every prayer counts at a time like this.

well.....i was in the middle of the first 5 shootings and was a lil freaked out...lol

my feelings are these:

1) i belive he was shooting at a Micheals store empolyee thru the glass the first night....but he missed. he then went and shot a fella at a store 1 mile away. the next day he had a very thought out route and went against traffic all morning to each shooting. he knows the area very well.....

2) I THINK THE FRIGGON MEDIA IS A BUNCH OF FRUITCAKES....they spend the first week calling this guy a nut case and wack job....must be nice to run yer mouth and piss him off when you dont live here. :grr then yesterday....every news show here was sayin....he took a 3 day weekend. well....he didnt:grr

3) he may be trained....but the shots he has taken are fairly easy....but.....having the nerve to shot a human being in cold blood thru a scoped rifle is not easy....trust me.

4) i belive they will catch him....but he will get a few more victims first. until then.....

I totally agree, but I think he will get bored with just shooting easy unsuspecting citizens and up the anty by engaging a cop. I think eventually he will want to go head to head with another sniper, probabily a SWAT member and see who is the best shot. This guy won't go out easy and will die before it's over taking a few more victims with him. Just my thoughts on it all...

i dont belive he will get bored....i look for him to start trying to engage targets at farther distances. a true sniper will not get caught....and last night he almost was caught. this is a game with him....the killing was his rush at first...but now i think its just routine for him.

On friday the sniper had a opportunity to kill a cop if he wanted to. He was within 50yds of a cop when he killed that man at the gas station. The cop even said he heard the gun shot.

Like some one else mentioned that if this is terrorism that there is the chance that once this guy goes down another one will pop up. Hopefully there will not be any coppy cat people like there was with school shootings.

Everyone just needs to remember that this could happen in any place. Hopefully they will catch this monster soon.

This snyper is nothing special. Its not hard to shoot a gun. Does anyone know what kind of gun it is because a 22 shoots long range it's quiet, and it has the power. Plus there is even a way to make a silencer out of pvc pipe and tennis balls.

not all serial killers go out in an a hail of gunshots. David berkowitz in 1776-77 i believe was caught and admitted to it all freely. Dahmer when they figured out was him they just found him in his infamous apt. If they can find enough leads they could just go get him, this guy is pretty good about getting in, doing his business, and getting out. I do hope they catch him, i think he is just doing it for attention.

-The gun is a .223 (aka ar-15 aka civilian m-16)
-The guy who killed licoln was also ex military, marines if I remember right
-an ar-15 will drill holes at 300 yards with open sights, anyone that owns one will tell you that
-shooting tight groups with a 10/22 isnt a very big accomplishment, it is a very accurate gun
-The gun is probably not silenced, if it was they wouldnt hear it from 50 yards. Very few sniper rifles are silenced, they just shoot from so far away you cant hear it
-Most of the witnesses report hearing the shot
-he will make a mistake or get cocky, it is human nature
-we dont know him, so who knows how he will go out
-if he stopped right now, we would never catch him
-(my thoughts again) he is using a work vehicle, that is why none on the weekends, and he switches up
-the media is retarded, "there is a pattern, he appears to not be targeting children." Bang, kid shot. "He doenst seem to kill on the weekends." Wanna guess whats gonna happen next weekend? Keep your stupid thoughts to yourself you dumb reporters!

No, Even if your in the Military, it would pretty much be Impossible to get guns smuggled out.

Most of the time if your not called, you don't even have any kind of access to weapons, unless your in some kind of training, or your going into real combat. They have a room, with all the guns, and ammo there. Then, they will have a checklist, or list telling what guns are going in or out that day or week.

Why do I know this stuff?

I was staying at the big Base in Wash. D.C. on a Boy Scout trip, and it was during that Chinesse conflict with the plane, and it was a Marines branch. A group of guys were in there checking out weapons in this hall, and we all got to walk by the weapons checkout/depot,and....WOW....lots of nice stuff :)

Now, I saw on the news this morning that they now think that the sniper around Washington, DC has a darker skin color, possibly arabic or latino. Also, the weapon is much like what you see being used in the middle east.

hey well just to let all u guys know, i live in the UK and i hear on the news all the time bout the iraq war, and we all feel for u guys out there. especially on the 9/11 that was horrible to watch. i dont think that us people out here in the UK will ever know how bad it is to live in a place filled with madmen and drugs and guns although there are stuff like that in the UK, i dont think it will get as bad as the US. so our prayers are with u people out there.
