How does the ignition on a 300 work? My bike was popping and sputtering before i tore it down like the ignition was going bad. Are they points or a magneto or what? also, any way to hot rod 'em? I think my quads gonna need a bit more spark then stock. it's a 390, 11:1, port and polish, valves and valve grind, gapless 2nd ring and will be running on CAM2 gasoline.
