i'm not exactly looking to lower my quad but i'm told that's what they do and well i have one.

would my quad sit a little higher if i swapped it off for a stock dogbone?

also, is it the longer the dogbone, the lower it sits? just wondering.

I wouldn't lower it if you plan on doing any kind of jumping, when extended its the weak link in the suspension. yes, if you put a 85(needs different bushings) or 86 dogbone it will lower the bike some compared to a 87-89 dog bone.

when i bought my 89 it had the adjustable strut on it and i did like it b/c i race mx. i bought a stock 89 link and it actually lowered it a little bit and i cant figure that out. and yes the longer the dogbone the lower the quad will sit.

wrong thread.

anyways, are there any dogbones out there that would raise it up a bit, rather than lower it? compared to my durablue strut at least
