Help with research project

We have to do a research project for english. I have decided to do mine on the history of the ATV.Does anyone have any good sites with a run down of how everything has happened since the 70s when they first started coming out with 3 wheelers? Anybody know a lot about older ATVs that would let me do an e-mail interview?

there was an issue of dirtwheels that had a brief history other than that check with suzuki i think?, they were the first i think they previewed an atv as a gimmick back in the 70's but the gimmick caught on

yeah....the early 70's saw the birth of ol' fat tires...lol so nicknamed for the trike honda produced at that time. suzuki was the first manufacture to offer a quad....

If you haven't already done this, you could look at each of the manufacturers websites. They may have some historical info or pictures.

I punched in "ATV History" in yahoo and did a search. First site is a Minneapolis Star and Tribune article on ATV History. Didn't look long, but had milestone models and features. There were many other "hits".

Good luck and tell us what grade you get. Hopefully your teacher isn't a tree hugger.

Honda kinda started the whole thing with the ACT90 back in the 70's. Then I believe Suzuki jumped on the bandwagon.
