400ex exhaust leak, any cures??

just looked over the quad real well, noticed my exhaust had black marks where the slip on meets hedder. started tthe bike and the slip on leaks.
but its not the slip on, its the hedder or the reducer.
i am still running stock 400ex hedder, with pwercore IV exhaust. the slip on fits tight on the reducer, but the reducer is loose over the hedder, there is a good ammount of play. i.e the reducer expander or the hedder shrank or its the wrong reducer all together just never showed up till now.

any ideas how to fix this? what about the cause?

Take it off, clean it, try reinstalling it and tightening it good. Worked for me.

tried that a few times, but the clamp does not tighten the reducer, only the slip on muffler. the powercoreIV is mader for a powerbomb, but im using it on a stock hedder. therefoe i need a reducer, which came with the exhaust.
