I'm looking into a chain and sprocket set.Rocky Mountain has a set-up for like $67. or so.There Primary.Has any-one ever runs this brand.I ride mx.I'm looking into a x-ring.Does anyone have any sugguestions.I no that steel will last longer than alumnium,but really how much longer.

In my experience, steel rear sprockets will last a lot longer--easily twice as long. I'm using a PD X-ring chain on a CR250R with good success. I don't think the RockMountain PD stuff is the "best" available, but I have found it to be one of the better values. For the money, it's hard to beat.

I have a Primary front sprocket, works great and shows little wear.

the fronts dont wear near as fast, youll usually go through about 4 rear sprockets before you do a front,

I run Primary Drive sprockets with the Gold X-ring chain and so far everything has held up great, not much chain stretch at all very alittle at the most but it was worth the price.
