250r motor bogs out

my r motor has been boggin bad in turns like i have to rev high and dump cluthc. i double clutch and it does ok but still not that great. it feels like its not as fast as it normally is. i run the 34mm stock carb on it. will a 36mm AS or 39mm wake it up and make it runa lot better. its got a very good port and polish with a .60 overbore on it.

I am no expert, but recent experience tells me you either have a reed problem or a carb problem. I would pull the carb and take it completely apart and clean it up. Pull the reed cage and make sure there are not any cracks and that the reeds are seating.
Just an idea.

not until i shut it off and it sets for awhile.

Im haveing problems to and most people told me it was my float high so check that out and give the carb a good cleaning and check the jets to make sure there not cloged. What carb size are you running ?

stok 34mm jetted. im pored and polished and bored and shaved, so i htink my bog and loss of power is cause im no getting enough fuel. it doesnt like to idle eiher like it drinks the fuel to try n keep running. im selling stock carb and gettion a 38mm AS. his carb idles and runs perfect on stock bore or just a bore, but not por and polish. its a good carb jus rebuilt, so i need bigger one.
