man thats a nice set-up.

thats really the only reason i would ever have a car is the room in the trunk for subs and system. I was strapped for room and cash so this made for a good trade! :)

Nice man that looks clean. Looks like you might need a seat lift kit though. Mine needed a 2" lift block kit on the ends where the bolts go through...it actually makes the sitting in the rear seat more comfortable with the increased leg room. I'll try to get some pics of my setup later today you can make the lift blocks yourself.

yea i think i might have to fab some seat lift brackets up because the seat is just sitting there! well see what i can do

Hey, here's the pics I promised :D I've been a little busy lately so I haven't had a chance to upload them. These came with my box but they look pretty simple to fabricate yourself. Just a couple of 2" blocks of wood, drill your holes, get some longer bolts, paint and walaa!

I just found out yesturday that the truck I bought a month ago has 2 10" subs in it . Now I have to buy a CD player and an amp for them ... they aren't hooked up right now and my stock radio is crap ... all the wires are cut on it . It's gunna be one hell of a job.

They're Alpine subs , in boxes and custom placed inside the panels in the interior. PLUS , I also realized that my truck has a lift kit on it. Finally got underneath it today to grease things up and noticed the blocks. BONUS !!!!!!

Maybe I should have explained myself a little better so that I wouldn't be called a " straight dumbass" .

This truck sits just as high as my dad's 94 Dodge which has a factory suspension setup for a plow . I figured that's what this one had also but after getting under it , I noticed it has blocks instead .

As for the subs , my factory cassette deck doesn't work in the truck let alone have a cd player , so there was no way for me to even know they were there ... plus they aren't hooked up AND , the guy installed them inside the plastic panels of the truck ( in the extended cab part) . with the rear seat in the down postion , you can't even see where the subs are there . In addition , the guy I bought my truck off was in his 50's . He didn't even know they were there ... the guy he bought the truck off was the one that installed them i guess.

I'm going to have to replace all the wiring for the radio or if I ever buy a cd player. I talked to the previous owner , and apparently the truck had a system in it and had been broken into . The thieves just cut and ripped out all the wiring. Another nightmare begins !!!!!:ermm:

Exactly, just run brand new, good quality wire for everything, that is your best bet.

Me and wiring are like oil and water .... it doesn't like me , and I don't like it !!!!:ermm:

When I get a few extra bucks , I'll probably get it all fixed up properly . I don't plan on keeping the truck too long though ..... a new truck is in my future !!!!
