What a great day it did turn out to be. For all those cry babies that didn't come cause they were scared of a little mud, they missed out for sure! Thanks to all of you that did come, it was a fun track and we look forward to next year.

Well, that is all the pictures I was able to take.
Thanks for all of you that came out and raced. The weather was perfect and the track turned out to be pretty good for ya'll. Sorry about all the stumps, hopefully we can get that part better for next year, but it is something different.

See ya in June at the next one.

Another great track, regardless of what others thought about Hickory< I think the mid east crew did and always does a fantastic job. It was great to have a new track to ride, especially with the weather conditions that we had. Thanks for giving us these places to have the opportunity to race and hang out with people we don't get see often. As always I had a great time , but really wish I could see the overall results. Hope everyone stays safe and has an enjoyable 4 weeks off.

ok you bunch of dumbarses.. if you can't follow these instructions you don't even need to have a computer. for windows with XP go to this site http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/downloads/powertoys/xppowertoys.mspx
go all the way to the bottom of the page and on the far right hand there is a coloum of downloads. click on the one that says picture resizer, install it. here's the cool part you never have to look for this softyware you just right click on a pic and you'll see resize this picture added to the menu. and you can do one pic or bunchs..
so download it
install
right click on pic and resize
your welcome...

gump
05-14-2007, 07:49 PM
i forgot, the next question will be how do i do more than one pic.
so to select different pics highlight the first one then hold the ctrl button and single click on the other pics while keeping the ctrl button pressed when you click the last one you want just right click on one of the high lighted pics and resize.
to resize all pics highlight the first pic, hold down the shift key then click on the last pic and that will highlight all pics and you can right click on one of them and resize them all..
your welcome..

See why I was about to loose my religion... This is a farley new camera.... do you think there may be a different setting or something we should use... Charles uses the sports setting so he can just click, click.... I need Brooks to give me some lessons.
Thanks for all your time in trying. See ya in June.. love ya

only lesson brooks will give ya is how much beer you need to bring to the track, with that being said bring me or "brooks' your camera before the race at parker valley and we'll set it to take smaller resolution pics that will fit this site or at least make it easier to resize...

Great race....I love that place!! I just hate coming in 10 seconds behind 1st!! It's aggervating! I had to go pitch a fit like a little kid after the race!! O'well....that's just racin'! I just like to win this year before I retire:) RETIRE??
What-the seat hittin you in the butt too much? It want be long -what was stickin out is going to get flatten! And the curves will jerk the two halves apart. You'll first notice it doesn't take much paper anymore cause nothing hittin sides. Yep damn ...............what a gap.

There is a science to that. It all starts with what you weigh. All 4w are extremely too tall and weigh nothing in the front-------a bad combination. The more you weigh the worse it is. If everything was right-then you woodn't bee hittin anything. Confidence goes up and the speed too. It wood be thurs. or friday to get over being sore.

Amen to that! This is one of the toughest sports out there and finishing is a big accomplishment! And there are a lot of us (I am one of them) out there defeating the odds with physical limitations, injuries or illnesses and still racing and I am just thankful to God that He allows me to keep going!!!!!
You don't even have to get a plaque to be a winner. :D I raced three years against the guys and walked away from more than a couple dozen races with nothing but knowing that I gave it my all!!!
I am just thankful that we have such a great bunch of people as race family to make these races more than just your average sport!!

Jenna, if you have a baby you will just have to strap him/her on your back and keep racing ;) ! :)

Has anyone else had problems getting the overall results from the race to come up for Parker Valley?

I've not been able to get the quad overall results up either. I thought they would have been up by now. I was afraid to ask about it on the mideast site because it might start a fight with the way things are going on that forum.:(

It all started on the the thread that me and mark walker were talking about night racing on. No one that I knew of was whining or crying about anything, but someone got it turned around bigtime. While I'm doing all this typing I want to apoligize to anyone I held up at parker valley. I was having some batt. problems and did'nt get to finish. I passed alot of people on the 1'st and 2'nd lap only to stall in the middle of the track several times and hold the same people up. I should have parked it sooner, but did'nt want to give up any more points than I had to.

I love night riding and think a night race would be great but I guess there aren't enough people interested. I was the only female on a dirt bike or quad that raced the first "Hoot Owl" race that Mideast had and it was great fun! It would even be fun to have a night team race and combine both elements. :D

They could put a sheet of paper at the sign up trailer for who ever was interested to sign and even pay in advance if enough was up for it to make sure they did'nt back out. What would be the harm in that?

i was at the last night race watching, "broke wrist" it looked like alot of fun, jeff even helped you out in that race if i remember correctly angela...
do yall rember the last race at parker valley when jeff was hurt and taking pics from that kicker that about killed several of us and didn't have a danger sign on it ?? look at your plaque if you got one and it has a danger sign on it and there was one at that kicker.... so do yall think that was by design or coincidence ???
