I have an 86 R and i am still running that same cluch setup. I am going to redo the clutch here soon and want to know where to get the update at. I tried service honda but could not search the parts for some reason. Anywhere else I can get it.

what does it do?
is it an easier pull?
My 86 gives me the worst arm pump and i have a new cable and a
long clutch lever.

for the most part its a more efficient design. less wear, smoother action and less tranny clunk. they are well worth the money.

what kind of clutch springs are you using? I have heavy duty springs and my clutch pull isn't that bad with the new cable.

kinda weird that this thread popped up again.... I just came in the house from puttin on my 89 clutch update kit, and replacing the clutch.... For some reason it took forever to do everything this time.. alot had to do with the fact that for some reason i couldnt get my pipe apart... I think when i painted it, some of the paint melted to both pipes... and i couldnt separate the two pipes... I even tried using a oil filter rench..... Sooo i had to work around it
I need a quick-change.... really bad :o
