has anyone tried the suzuki 450 shocks on the honda 450? im not sure if the mounts are the same size but i know they are longer and have more travel so i was wondering if they might work with some +2 arms?

Well standard travel +2 arms are going to use the same length shock as stock, so a longer shock wouldn't work, and if they are long travel +2's, I dont think they will be long enough. It is always best to buy suspension that has been designed for your atv. The price you would pay for a set of stock LTR fronts, and the money it would cost to get them built to specs for the 450R front end, you would be paying almost as much for a good set of shocks made for your R.

they'll bolt on, people put ltr shocks on z400s with +2s and seem to like it, but the 450r shocks will be better if you had them rebuilt
