Rear shock for a 250r?

Looking for a no link rear shock

What length?? I haves few of them here, one Walker evans (fox), and 2 that are from a DS650 but were revalved by precision concepts and work great.

I'm looking for 17.5 I believe is what no link are.

Stock is 16. Somebody correct me if I am wrong.

They can range from 17.5 on a stock style frame to 20.5 on a aftermarket frame. Trust me I have been through a few setups to get the right combination and it isn't cheap. You need to know what style frame you have and also what type of swingarm you are going to use. IE drop center swingarm, raised mount frame etc.

Do they really ride real harsh?

They ride very nice if they are done right. I have a no link elka triple rate forsale fully adj. Needs a new preload ring, because its knarled up. still works fine spins smooth. It is 18in. setup won't be nearly as critical on a drag swinger as on a mx bike. pm me if your interested 350.00 and thats a great price for this shock I just need it gone. trying to clean out some spare parts.
