View Full Version : The best 400ex full exhaust?

I no this has been asked many times,but what is the best 400ex full exhaust?wich one has the most power and sound,but the cetch is i dont want to spend an arm or leg for one.Actually it dosnt just haft to be a full system whats the best slip on also?One more thing What the best oil to run in my 400ex?thanks

i have a yoshi full and my wife has a curtis sparks x6 and we like both of them.

its been said before. You wont really get any gains, in fact you will probably lose bottom end performance with a full system unless your motor is built. If your just looking for sound and a small bit of gain then just get a slip on. I would reccomend an HMF slip on, they sound sweet and are very well built. As for oil, I use honda GN4 10w-40

Agreed.

We too have Yoshi and have had them all 4 of our Hondas.Very happy with Yoshi and have no reason to change in the future...
Full systems for the most part are not cheap either.
I agree,and HMF slip on would probably very suitable for you :)

HMF slip on would be one of the wisest choices for you. Check the dyno section, the 400ex with just an HMF slip on got a HUGE bottom end gain.

i have the white brothers E-seires full exhuast, and it works great on my quad. i rejetted the carb and added a k&n filter and i saw enormous gains

What my husband and I were told from Sparks, is that if you plan to do any motor work at all to go with the full, and the big bore.

I like the tone of the wb R4, I hope this one keeps lasting because they quit making it.
