pretty crazy, but you would think they would atleast upgrade axles enough to stand up to the tires and the V8. Look how tiny they are.

If the rears in that are Toyota stright axles. they are bullet proff. I have a mud bog truck pushing 650-700 HP with the stright axles with 529s.. Never mind I looked at the more pics and there are not Toyota rears. Wounder why he didnt put toyota axles in it that would of been the first thing I would have done. with some 529s.

Here is a pic of it.

I know the factory axles are tough but they won't hold up to real off roading

14 bolts and d60's don't do well with a decent 350 that big of tires

Mud bogs are suprisingly low abuse for axles. I have a buddy running a 650hp+ 436 small block in a Jeep with d44's and 39.5 boggers

The pic wouldnt work on the other one so here ya go. Iam running a 446ci Big block mopar with 12.5.1 pistons H-beam rods, eagle crank,Team G Intake with a 1050 Carb, eldebrock aluminum heads,590 soild lift cam 1.7 rollor rockers, toyota stright axles with 529s with 42" Super swampers. headers threw the hood.

I say by looking at the pics of the toyota that its a trailer queen.

I like it, but it needs some bumpers, roll bars, visor and some other accessories. It's just not dressed fancy enough for me.

Sounds like a sweet setup. What are 529's? the gear ratio?

My buddy's jeep is a CJ-5 stretched out to CJ-6 wheelbase. running a 400 small block bored and stroke to 436, Clearance pan rails and sleeves to fit, I can't remember the stroke. Dart Square sport heads, Forged bottom end, 15:1 compression, .700 lift cam, full roller with 1.7:1, epoxy filled block. It didn't have an intake or carb yet last time I work on it so thats where I stop. :p He just can't keep transmissions behind it now.

Ya 529's are the gear ratio. This is the first year running this motor and we havent had time to take it to a mud bog yet this year. but with a stock 440 with just an aluminum intake headers and a 484 lift cam. the best run was an 5.34 in a 200foot mud hole and the slowest time was an 14.3 in a 200 foot mud hole about 24-38" deep.

That trailer queen needs some 2.5 ton Rockwell militairy running gear under it....then it could take some abuse!:p
