440ex kit and carb

Can I use a stock 400ex carb with a 440ex kit in my bike?

yeah you can, I had the stock carn on a 460, was a fast bike, just put on a FCR though, and I havent ridden it yet but I can say that sitting on it and revving it it seems like its a whole different machine (or will be when I ride it)

yeah a stock carb will be fine, but you would not believe the power gains you would see from an aftermarket carb.

hey bro i have a stock carb on our 440ex right now 440 11:1 kit, JE Piston,white bros stage 2 cam,ported..ect.. **** rips..im definatley investing in a 450r carb or something cause like ppl said its a nasty ex with more fuel for that motor.

You CAN run one, but why?
Afterall that you spend to get gains out of a built motor,a better carb only adds to it:)
I was shocked how much difference a carb made on mine.
