i love wakeboarding. i do it all summer when im not riding. id say that liquid force is the best when it coes to boards. i also like CWB. go check out buywake.com or boardstop.com for some good prices on boards. u could probably find an 06' board for CHEAP.

i ride the liquid force stance 138. i dont know if ur familliar with board sizes. it all depends on weight. the stance is a great board to learn on, its very stable. ive also heard that the liquid force omega i good. as for bindings its all preference.

I personally think Hyperlite is the best, Liquid Force right behind it. I run a 05 Parks Bonifay 138 w/ Parks bindings. Its a good sport, very fun. It all depends on your weight which size board you need. When my little brother started he started on a LF 132, now he is on to bigger and better brands.

Open toe, the back part of the bindings a two years ago broke, still rode them for the remainder of the season. Sent them back to Hyperlite, and they replaced them no questions asked, I didn't even have receipt. Other than that, good bindings. Comfortable and they are is no movement.

I am not a big fan of close toe'd bindings anyway. Not sure why, they remind me of snowboard boots or something. I figure I want some toe showing not sure why though haha!

I am with you Hyperlite all the way!!! We currently ride on a borrowed liquid force! We have our own bindings (hyperlite State) those are good for the price!(very comfortable! We have a hyperlite (2005 3ds 135(NEW)) it is on the way! And we have a hyperlite wake skate(phriction 117) pretty fun to play around on!

you are also going to need a good non-stretch rope(Bullet ski line)! And also a good handle like Straitline!

here is the board that we are supposed to be getting!
