thats real nice...my one friend has the exact same car, lowered, 10% tints, borla exhuast(sp), new black rims (duno what kind).

my other friend ..had...a 550 hp cobra i'll get pics of that. Was really nice until he spun out and hit a tree resulting in bending the frame. One of my favorite cars. Felt like it would put you in a coma when he gunned it. I'll go lookin for pics.

yeah thats what i have. I was gunna go with SLP loudmouths. they sound amazing but i like to listen to music sometimes and there really loud. the flows are just perfect for what i wanted em for.

I love the 05 and up Mustangs! My plan is to get one around this time next year, so hopefully I'll have quite a bit saved up:macho But I got to think about schooling first, grr:mad:

yah no kidding, i dont think you can get any more lucky at the age of 18 to have a dad thats really into cars :cool: that was his 3rd cobra too. Had two 95's (second one was the black one) before this '98. By far the most power i've ever felt, you could litterally see the gas gauge go down when he was running someone.

Yeah i hear good things about the kenne bell but, I heard on in person and the superchager doesnt make any noise. Idk why but i like the widing sound they make and the kenne bell just didnt do ti for me. I never heard of whipple?

KB's are LOUD... i dont know whose or where you heard one that wasnt but ive been around several KB cobra's and gt's and they are one of the loudest blowers out there... but IMO before you go blower on that GT i do a few more bolt ons... LT's, x pipe, etc. will help alot and may make you more happy with the power... Whipples are extremely nice, personally i prefer a big KB but Whipples are known for making great power as well...

Hm, Maybe your right, the one i heard if i remmeber corectly was a kennebell but im prob. wrong. The one on the cobra sounds awsome!

yea KB's are very very very loud...

but as i said earlier you may be better off buying long tubes, an x pipe, intake, gears, and a tune, then go blower later... those will also help you get the most out of it when you get it anyways...


right now my car is almost all bolt on's, a full exhaust, and a tune and its damn quick for the money... i personally am choosing to go the H/C/I way with it and try to put down around 450rwhp or so when im done then make it a track only car... but the blower way is a good way to make cheaper power and more streetble as well...

My house is divided. My brother loves GM and I like Ford. He has an '04 GTO and I have a really modded out mustang. I got my mustang when I turned 16, V6 5spd. When he turned 16 I gave him my mustang and got an F-250. Then he got his GTO and gave me back the mustang. I took the mustang to a mustang specialties shop and completely redid it. I had a brand new mach 1 motor put in with a 6spd trans and a cobra IRS. I also put on the cobra suspension and brakes all the way around with the '03 cobra wheels and BBK long tube headers, off road H-pipe and flowmaster american thunder exhaust. It also has the mach 1 interior in too. Only thing stock on it is the body. But coming soon is forged internals and a KB blower. Sorry no pics at the moment but I don't want to go through the trouble to do it.

Never ran the 03 at the track. The best 60' I fot out of the 01 was 1.8x but that was being REALLY easy on it. The 01's are notorious for having weak half shafts, and I never launched it hard enough to break one. I have seen guys in the 1.5x with them. I also have never ran the m/t drag radials, so I cant say if they are better or worse. :)
