First off what wt. of tranny oil everyone using in the quad.?

Also just ordered a ASV shorty clutch lever, should help get the rear brake handle back closer to the bars. Will report back on the lever when i get it installed this week.

Don't think there is anything possible for the front brakes???? since both lines are routed up to the perch.

what bolt pattern are the front and rears, along with offset?

looking for some aftermarket aluminum rims

I run 85W-80 Honda Red for the Tranny oil, you will need 8x6, 3+3 for front and rear, unless you want 3+5 rears and flip them to keep the width correct, I ordered from RockyMountainATV, search for 2003 Arctic Cat 90, quad made by Kymco, same bolt pattern and offset

I got the .125 for my son's 50. I figured the quad is so light that it would never bend the .125's. He has been jumping and everything and havent had a problem yet. Its all in what you want. My son's are the 2n+4n 8x6. This is what i ordered for his.

LOL! OOPS! Mine is the exact same manual, even shows the engine oil-I didnt see the little sae90 below the chart though. I thought 10w40 was kinda strange for the trans. I better change that out LOL! Thanks!

ok everyone, got the ASV F1 lever. it's gonna work great, but you'll have to get rid of the stock housing on the left side of bars, gonna get a start button and, bypass the safety switch to start.

i'll get pics up some day.

if anyone else does anything kool to those lil goose fiddy's post up what ya do!

also how does those snow hog tires hook up compared to the stock tires. the stockers look and do great just wondered about the HOGS

yeah, i was just looking at my son's bars yesterday on how to bypass that stuff. Post pics when ya done. I have found a 70cc kit for it too, just gotta get the funds to get it. I also made it 3 inches wider real cheap...like $25.

I got 3 extra 100 jets for it if you neen any. I had to buy 4 just to get one. After I installed to 100 jet I removed to the snorkle or turned the airbox cover around backwards to keep some of that dirt out. I drilled the clutch shoes out last week so now he has a 2500 stall, works great off the line and in the corners.

shouldn't be a problem to get that stuff out of the way. i"ll probably leave the clutch alone. this year. got to leave it stock per rules....LOL

she's gonna race it in the 50 stock class in the iatvhss series. its a great xc series here in iowa.

did you find spacers to make it wider???

ww228king

Yeah, there are alot of spacers out there to make it wider. I found a cheap way and it works. Go to Lowes and buy 16 3/8" threaded rod couplings. Tap half of each rod coupling to fine thread. Screw that side on your studs and then bolt the wheels on with 3/8" by 3/4 bolts. They are 1 1/2" on each side so it will make it 3" wider total. I will post pics in a few.
