having camera problems

Heres the story i took pictures of my bike yesterday while i was taking my fenders off and uploaded them on my computer. After i was done with the fenders i went back out and took some more pictures and connected my camera to my computer via the usb just like normal and now my computer wont read the camera. Its connected because when i plug it in it goes from the regular picture screen on the camera to a black screen letting you know its connected, but when i go to transfer the pictures it says "not connected". Anyone know what the problem could be? really starting to piss me off :scary:

Did you try to uninstall and reinstall it ?

Have you tried running it on another computer yet?

not yet, i've got to find an adapter for the usb plug, my other computer doesnt have a usb port just my laptop. Im thinking its either my laptop or a software issue though because my camera is reading my computer thus turning off the screen, or going into transfer mode or w/e.

well after re-installing the software again and a couple restarts later it actually works...thanks for the help
