im in the process of building a trail rig. 1984 CJ7 with amc 150. Just got a running motor dropped in, just working on figuring out which vac. lines go where cause it is all fudged from previous owner, and needs some patching. Frames solid however.

Just guessing, is that a Full traction Long Arm Kit? Or perhaps an Nth Degree. If you could provide some more info that would be great.

Just like most Jeeps specific model year (body and chassis styles) are given a 2 digit code.

TJ's were the 97-2006 (might be a little off on model years) with round head lights, soother body lines and most of all: coil springs and a 4 link front and rear. You have a TJ.

YJs were 87-95 I believe. They have square head lights, leaf springs. The blue jeep above.

CJ's the 5-6-7-8 are the older yet body, like the black jeep above. have leaf springs, most had amc engines, etc. The 5-6-7-8 indicates wheelbase roughly.

Then you get into XJ, ZJ, WJ, KJ, WK, KK, etc in the SUV's

Rubicon Express Long Arm Kit... definitely the most proven and quality kit out there.

Dynatrac Pro Rock Series axles
Atlas transfer case
Onboard welder
37" Krawlers on beadlocks
Onboard compressor enough to run any power tools.
Full hydraulic steering w/ a ram.

Those are probably the main things that set it apart from most jeeps out there at this type of level. It's my dads... but that's me driving. I will post more pics later. He just got back from Moab, Utah, so he has a bunch of nice pics.

Probably the most Un-known Jeep, the FC!!!!!

My friend's dad picked one up for $500 dollars, uses it on his farm.

It has a 9' bed!!!!

Pretty sweet. Will try to get some pics of it next weekend.
