fuel filter

I put an in-line filter in the gas line. Now when I slam the throttle it boggs and when shifting as it gets into low rpms it tends to die but it used to run fine at those rpms. I changed the main from a 168 to a 185. Could it be that? or the needle? or the filter? Mods in sig.

Sounds like the jet wow from a 168 to 185 go back to the 168 and see what happens.

Yea drop back on the jet, no reason to increase the main with adding a fuel filter.

so does it sound like its getting too much fuel from the main jet or not enough because of the in-line filter?

Well I went back to a 168 and it runs great. I might go a little richer but thanks for all your help.
