Anyone notice that these things re starting at 129.00? Is/nt that a lot to spend on just one air filter that you never have to oil.....129.00 and the chance of it not worksing....Does not sound like a good deal to me

Guys, this is technology at work. Don't you think air filter technology would get to this point at some time?

I like it, but I wouldn't spend $130

Why not? A lot of desert racers who race trophy trucks use oil-less filters, the dirt does not stick to it as much, causing you to have to clean your filter less!! $130? How much do you think you've spent on air filter cleaner and air filter oil, not to mention extra filters because you have to clean them so often, that it makes more sense to have 4 or 5 of them handy. I bet I've spent more than that on a combination of extra filters and filter chemicals.:o

Will I be the first to try it out... doubt it.

i'm sure it would work fine.......but costs way too much.....i've decided to use the pre-oiled moose racing filter for my 400ex....it's like $25.....and i just buy a new one from time to time...no cleanup...no oily mess.....the perfect amount of oil on the filter...not too much, not too little....just take the old one off and put the new one on just like u would do in a car......i guess it probably is reusable but i'd rather just spend a lil money rather than buying cleaner and air filter oil and such
