1. i'm having trouble getting the cam chain on the lower gear at the crank. i've already put installed the oil pump and clutch-side cover...should i have made sure the cam chain was on the gear prior to the oil pump?
2. is the crank supposed to spin freely? i get a stop/clunk after a 1/4-turn or so in either direction. it's in neutral.
i think the manual says to install the cylinder before the side covers, but i'm waiting for new rings and want to get the engine put together as much as possible. thanks in advance!
