I'm running 18" tires and have a 416 if that matters on my 2000. I'm running the stock sprocket sizes and I'm wondering if I should go up a tooth or down a tooth on my front sprocket? And what about the rear? I like the way it feels now, but I've never tried anything else so I can't compare.

I run 15/36 on my 460 stroker give me little more top end. I like that setup better then the 15/38 it had too mutch torque the front would come up when shifting from 4 to 5ft gear.

15/36 would be good if youre wanting to get your gearing back to like it was with the 20's. That would get you pretty close;)

So for mx would you still recommend 15/36? I have a stage 2 hotcam which gives me more topend, so I was thinking that the way I have it now might even it out a bit. But I dunno:confused: :scary:

Depends on if you want more accel or more top speed. It would hurt bottom a bit tho if you went to the 15/36, you'd probably notice it even more with the stg 2 hotcam.
