XR 400 right side case?

The schematics of the two motors look identical and I know the kick start question has been asked but has anybody tried or know if the right side case would fit?

It has a built in quick change clutch cover?

Got the starter plugged andthen bought a hinson cover that bolted right up totalit all cost me a little under $300, for a new side case, polished it, then bought a new hinson removable cover, and plugged the whole that's a lot better than the $500for the whole hinson side case. I'm not saying your wrong, I haven't done this, but other people have said otherwise:confused: This is a really old quote, so the prices are probably way off.
