How does everyone like they Holeshots SX, ITP says that they are made for the hard pack tracks and my MXR6's are wearin out. The tracks I ride are loamy for my first moto and rarely the second but the rest of the motos its blue grooved in every corner, will the Holeshot Sx work good or should I try somehting else

yeah, the sx's are really good for hard packed tracks but I would just get a set of good ole turf tamers.:)

Holeshot SX's are phenominal on hard pack, much better for a 450 than turf tamers are, I've used both. However the SX's are very expensive and wear down very fast.

buy 2 sets of turf tamers, groove on for sand and leave the other one for hard packed.

No matter what I do to them, grooved or un grooved, they do NOT bite as hard as the SX's do. I really cant get tamers to hook up on anything anymore, after doing simple motor mods. The lugs just dont seem to be tall enough, or pliable/soft enough to really grab like a new set of holeshots do.
