I think what they meant , was that you couldn't walk into your local Honday or Yamaha dealership and buy those chassis'

There were a few screw ups in the commentary , but you have to expect that from guys that cover only dirtbike racing 99% of the time .

It's great though to look back and see the old 250rs running and the only 4 strokes were 400ex's

I dare anyone to tell me that the AMA couldn't put events like that together in the US. Even if they tied it into SX events it would be a start. Awesome post.

I never thought that a quad could tackle a supercross track like that! Looked just like the pro-bikes. Granted the track was catered more towards an atv, but still a very cool setup, nice and wide with a variety of rythm sections and big jumps. There has been rumored to be a quad supercross series for 08' that is supposed to be AMA sanctioned. I think something like that will reallly elevate this support. Awesome vid!

The first video is from the race that was featured in Carpe Diem 3. We went up there with Cale Downen, Hager, Wienen, and Sage Baker. The Americans always dominate that race!

Sorry, not trying to come off cocky. That was basically the vibe we got when we were there, that the Americans dominate. I know Gee well too, he was hauling. Maybe I should re-phrase it. All the racers that race the American Nationals always do very well (that includes Plante, Gee, and Pelchat) I am friends with Pelchat, Gee, and Plante so I definitley wasn't trying to dis-respect them.
