intake pics for those wanting idea's

I was having a heck of a time setting up a decent intake on my lsr yzf, So I built a piece that drops the tube down. Its a lt500 boot. and soon to have my new jrd aluminum airbox attached. It looks like its only two pieces but its actually shaped kind of like a Z It increases in diameter as it drops so it mates to the carb and lt boot perfect. My quad is super dirty normally looks much nicer, but hey Its super dusty in AZ and at least I ride it right?

Here is one more, my airbox is also shifted back, My old airbox was shaved down to a lower profile, but with the amount of travel and my atv innovations caliper I smashed it and split it wide open, thats why I bought the jrd box and its soo much nicer can't wait to get it mounted.

my dad did the same thing. we run a 350x air box and boot connected to a aluminum drop down piece just like yours.. works perfect.
