As far as I know, you have to have a 4-year degree to be a Military Pilot

Yes, you do need a Bachelor's degree in something to become a military officer, and you must be a military officer to fly fighter jets. Plus, you must be within strict body sizes, and be able to get a Class I medical. Class I medicals are very strict (I only have class III at the moment for private flying). Things that can exclude you from obtaining a Class I Medical are things like not perfect eyesight, depth perception problems, colorblindness, and even allergies past the age of 12. If I could get my Class I, I would go for a fighter pilot position in a heartbeat.
