i have been slowly building my 13 year old son a 300ex to race. he has raced a eton viper 90 mini quad for 4 years but it is time to move up. it dont look like much now but it is getting there. this is the front end with denton plus 2 400ex a-arms with works dual rate shocks with remote ressies. the shocks are built so you dont have to use the top shock relocator.

Looking good. The only thing I would change would be the blue on the upper a arms. Seems like one too many colors but it's just my opinion.
What did you have to do to fit the 400ex LSR axle?

Is the right nerf bar bent or just not completely mounted?

Should look great with the new yellow plastic. That thing is W I D E too.

just a pic of my small shop with some of our other toys in it, on the left is my older sons ex/yz 446 hybrid that is for sale, on the right is the race eton i just sold and you can barely see the bars of my 82 honda cb 900, also outside is my lifted 95 kodiak.

i bought the a-arms used so the were already blue. when i powder coat the new frame red i will also have the a-arms done too. on the axle i had to make a small spacer for the brake caliper side and used a rad lock nut. what i used was a old bearing carries bearing. took the balls and outer part off and used just the inner piece of metal as the spacer. worked perfect.

Didn't mean it to sound overly critical. Just an observation. Should look good with the red arms though. Hmm...I didn't think the 400ex axle swap was THAT easy. Something to think about if I build another one for my boy. Looking forward to the finished product.

Looks great! Your off to a good start.

What are the a arms? Whats the rear shock?

Check out my 13 year old daughters 300ex. I moved her off a 89 250r so she would be legal! She loves it. Look at the thread "Was Red now Black started today.

a-arms are denton plus 2 400ex a-arms. rear shock is a works quadstar, dual rate, remote ressie, adjustable rebound and compression. rear shock was $829 but my son is sponsored by works and we get 50% off.
