yfz rear shock

i dont really want to dump 6 or 800 $$ for a rear shock. i was wondering if i could buy a duel rate spring to fit the stock rear shock on a 04 yfz. im about 200lbs without my riding gear and right now im hitting the ground with my frame when i land. so im looking for a pretty stiff spring. any help would be great.

did you try adjusting your compression? I don't bottom out on my 400 rear and i'm 250lbs

many comapnies like c & d racing, gt thunder, and de risi can all rebuild your rear shocks to work as well as an aftermarket one (or better) for about half the price. gt thunder and de risi even sell a linkage to go with it
