250R shocks on 06 400EX? Is this possible?

Hi, this may seem like a very simple question, but will my 250R elka shocks work on my 400ex?

And does anyone have spare red plastic for the 06 400ex? I have a black machine, and would like to get a little flare outta my honda! :)

Shocks will work. They are slightly shorter eye to eye than the stockers but many people run with 250r fronts on 400ex/450r. They will be valved a little softer because the 250r is lighter than a 400ex.

I know that when I just bought my new Ishocks the box that they came in said for the 400ex/250r.
