Im having a terrible time locating a decent Work and Play trailer dealer:ermm: I am planning on getting a 28 footer and getting rid of our 28 foot toy hauler as i feel it doesnt work as well as a cargo based unit will.

Problem is, no dealers around here carry them, nor will they order them in:( If anyone knows a dealer or has an inside line for a decent deal, please post it!

Blake has an 06 28 footer forsale its really nice, you can see pics on the TQRA website under the forsale section, he is selling becasue they got a huge 40 footer fifthwheel style. its loaded out, btw im still looking for a good enough reason to make a trip up that way ;)

Pappy, I have the same 28 foot DB work and play that Blake May is selling, although he has the upgraded wheels, I don't. Blakes is in mint condition too! I bought/ordered mine from Dave's RV outside Claremore Oklahoma, it's an 06 model. Got a super deal on it, has the pull out awning, stereo/TV package, upgraded the AC to 15KV (which is a must), all for a little over $17K.

i went ahead and made a deal on a 40 foot tri-axle gooseneck and pick it up tomorrow. i know its overkill, but if things keep heading in the directiuon they are, its completely feasible i will be spending alot of time towing and living in it so i want the most comfy i can get.

good luck getting that out of a muddy race :p

Really nice. Is there a bed over part of the storage area?

I'm sure Momma and the family will be much happier at the races.

Does it have one of those elevator things that lift to make it so you can fit more quads in it?
For the life of me I cant think of what thats called:rolleyes:
Also, does it have a bed at the front as well?
Just curious on how many quads will fit in one of those .
At some point Troy and I really need to invest in a hauler of some kind, just not sure whats the best route
I think a Motorhome is what we will get more than likely.

Curious what kind of fuel mileage you are seeing so far?

Pappy
05-14-2007, 08:52 AM
with our old 28 footer (non gooseneck) we averaged roughly 11.5 but we hadnt really towed through the mountains, mainly south

with the new unit, its running around 12.5 to 13.8 depending on the terrain.

parkers30
05-14-2007, 10:29 AM
Wow, that far better than I expected.

I have alway been told 5er's get better mileage but I didn't think it made that much of an effect.
