Nothing even comes close to Rath, by far the best, I've had mine for 6 months, not one scratch, the Powdercoat is flawless and putting them on is also much easier than the AC's, also i didnt have to drill through anything. The net heel guards are one of my favorite parts, you cant even feel them until you need them, which i think is awsome. the pegs are big and beefy and are made out of steel, not aluminium, so they dont wear down.i will never run another nerf other than rath, i cant say enough good things about them:cool:

All i can say is find a set that fits you dont buy because of price or what someone else says to. Go to a race or try to find someone that has some different nerfs and stand on them see how they feel, I have a big foot size 13 and i am 6ft 2 so i tried a few sets out before i bought the set i did. I like the RATH nerfs but i live in SO CAL and no one out here really runs those i live in AC racing, PRO ARMOR, BLINGSTAR country so the back east stuff really isn't seen out here anyways good luck with your choice here is a pick of mine Blingstar Dc w/ IMS heel guards.

I order a set from K&K ATV and they sent me a set of brushed aluminum. They took off $100 because i wanted the gloss black so i sent the aluminum back.Kinda regretting it now because my buddy was saying pc is not the way to go with nerfs.Kinda kicking myself now because i would of got the brushed aluminum for 319 shipped but oh well.Should i just get the Gloss Black from Rath.Dont mind the cost as long as they hold up!!!!

Your friend is wrong!!! the pc on the raths is bulletproof, ive had mine for about 8 months, just a few scuffs, trust me, gloss black is the way to go

I like your choices. Just stay away from DG pro pegs with heel guard. Mine cracked in 4 places, their aluminum is cheap. Customer service is a joke.

Which IMS heel guards are those? I think theres 2 different styles.
Did u have to do any drilling or modding?

I'm thining of going with the same setup as the heel guards are ripping off my pro armors.

don't get UM nerf bars....they suck. my powder coat already has tones of chips and is peeling off and i've only had them for 3 weeks. the heel guards are too close to the pegs so they're always in the way. DON'T TAKE THE CHEAP WAY OUT.

The Pro Armor powergrip system looks to be like an awesome setup, I was all set to order a system, when I got the price tag... Around $500...:eek2:

Do yourself a favor if you don't want to destroy your boots don't get the Rath. They look great but after 2 XC races thet were desroyed. The tubes that mounts to the peg location are bent the net are cheesy and they are wider than the dg's making a little tougher getting through tree's.
If you only doing MX and you don't move your feet too much, they are the best. For the woods DG, AC.Honestly I loved my DG propegs but they were aluminum and they were getting dull teeth on the peg section.

My DG pro pegs with heel gaurd have stainless foot pegs and they are still sharp. You could file yours sharp again or just replace them. I welded my DG's and so far they have held up.

The rath nets to me looked like they were not the best quality. After I told DG I was upset with mine cracking within a year they offered to sell me a new set for $150 not bad I guess.

If you get the rath you have to take a hammer to bang then points on the pegs or they will deff eat your boots. I did it just to make then a little duller then when I got them new.

Mine were from "04" aluminum.

This is the first bad stuff I have read about Rath. I have them with the net heel guards and they are great, much better then AC's for sure. After 2 local XC races and 2 GNCC's they are still like new.

A good flat file with a few strokes would be better than a hammer:rolleyes:

This is definately the 1st negative ive heard of the raths!!!I think i will just keep sharpening my DG's till there done!!LOL!!I use a grinder with a 4" cut off blade and very carefully sharpen em!!So far so good,,,maybe 1 more year to go unless they break!!!
