Video Editing

My GFs Dell PC has the programs Windows Media PLayer,and Creative Media Srouce. Just wondering If I can edit videos with ether of these. All I need to do is cut some parts out of a video

i dn about the creative but run a search for windows movie maker.. It's really good for stuff like that and you can add music and things
