how much of a difference is there between just getting an 11:1 piston with cam and getting a 440 overbore w/ 11:1 comp. and cam? will getting the 440 make a 400ex much faster or is it better to keep it at the stock bore? thanx.

you got $ to burn? if not yeah go with a cam,11:1 piston, rev box or my personal stock 400ex favorite the curtis sparks degree key only $20 i would say for the money youy cant beat it youll love the throttle responce and low end i loved it but that was when my ex was stock w/k&n filter, degree key worth every penny and easy to do.oh and to answer you question of course a 440 will be faster, trust me get the key, look around i dont think anyone would disagree that the key is the best bang for the buck for a stock 400ex.

just get everything at rockymountain their the cheapest but now that Ive said that c&d will try to prove me wrong and try to beat them out ,hey that's just good to keep prices competitive lol,i get every thing from either service honda(oem) or rockymountain (after market) fast shipping and orders over $99 free and a flat rate of $7 bones you cant beat that even tires ,plastics ect...
