ok i have a decision to make on tires,

1- razr 2 all around
2- razr 1 all around
3- razr mx all aroud
4- holeshot's all around

i will use them mostly for trail riding.

i want a tire that hooks up good and that will last a long time.

Ummm, no. I am assuming the tires are for his 300EX listed in the sig. HD's are really heavy. A lot of people won't put them on their 400's cause they weigh it down, much less a 300.

I'd recommend either Maxxis Razr 1's all the way around, ITP Holeshot GNCC's, or Kenda Klaw XC's (my favorite). Don't get Razr2's because again, they're really heavy, and don't get Razr MX's cause they're made for MX (softer compound and fewer plies) so they won't hold up as well. My buddy runs the GNCC's and likes them but they are a little softer compound so won't last as long. I'd check out the Kenda's.

maxis i razor, rears are sweet you can slide when you want or hook up and pull out of any corner ,their also radials 6 ply puncture resistance.

O my bad I thought it was for a 400, yea more I think about it don't put the HD's on.

Just to clear stuff up I run the HD's and they are sure beefy let me tell you.

get the standard razrs because they will last and are not as quite heavy as the razr2.if im not mistaken they are the cheapest of the bunch besides maybe the hole shots. very very good tire.

I dont know how people think hd's are too heavy. First off, they aint! I have hd's on my 400ex, and I love them. I ride mx alot, and I can sky it out no problems. Razr 2's are just UGLY;). Go with anything that has itp's name on it:D

GBC mudsharks. personal favorite for trails/mud/rocks. i prefer these over holeshots or razrs any day, just hook up better

yah i've had my HD's over a year and also really good in the muddy stuff.

can't go wrong with any of these:

GNCC's all around (21" rears)

Rzr1 rears and Rzr2 Fronts

Kenda Knarly XC rears and Klaw fronts

Im the only one out of a group of 6 guys that ride that has (NO) tire problems !! Extreme XC Conditions !! One of my friends has holeshot GNCC's and has nothing but problems.. Razr 2s are by far the best !! And believe me I test them!!:devil:
