What are the advantages of this subframe? Lighter? More sturdy?

yea racers will shed any weight at all for god sakes theyll take out the neutral lights to save weight. i know for me though i need to lose weight in the front. my rear is already light if i had that i would be nose diving all over.

less weight on the back means better handling on turns and less crashing another racer when coming out of the turns

Beware if you are an aggressive rider. These things will break if pushed too hard.
