Loudest pipe

hello,

hello guys i just a "new" 2004 honda 450-r and i am wondering what the loudest pipe they make for it is. I am pretty young and i like loud things and i am thinking a bout buying a loud exausht slip on or system for it..thanks

I would go with a sparks. Its not the loudest but it has an awesome sound to it and is IMO the best sounding pipe out there

What good is a nice loud quad if theres nowhere to ride it?

If you want it real loud just take the pipe off.

no, that is dumb what i have heard is they take the baffle off but it isnt good for the engine

X2 loud pipes=pissed off citizens=bad rap for ATVers=no more riding.

we are working hard to keep trails open to quads and dirtbikes, please help in the fight.

p.s. sparks makes a great muffler that is quiet but also has the same power gains as a hmf or white bros. just cant remember the model. personally i run a hmf powrcore 4 w/ the quiet core insert. not as loud as a harley, but still sounds great

I got a HMF slip-on and it's pretty loud not too loud but loud enough for your liking and you can pick one up for $220.
I didn't think i was going to like my slip-on until i had it i would never change it now.
I had a sparks before also the thing sounded ridiculously good but that was on my 250ex. Compares the Sparks price to the HMF price and i think you might choose the HMF. Plus you can customize your slip-on for a extra $20 bucks!

I can't believe nobody has said Nmotion yet! The old ones like mine are really really loud, I don't know about the newer ones though.

The loudest pipe that I heard on a 450r is a curtis sparks pipe and it was loud!

this is mine.it's loud,add's power,look's good,and cheap,also they use steel rivots.does the end cap sound any different.

yep,TC shorty all the way...but if you ride around alot of towns I wouldnt suggest it.Only reason I have one is because I ride in Trevorton,PA every week and noone really cares there

Out of the pipes I have heard this is how I would rate them from loudest to quietest...

TC shorty, nmotion, Rossier, Dasa, White Brother

The rest are pretty mild, and my Sparks being one of the quietest.

TC and nmotion are by far the loudest.

trinity is the loudest ive heard yet but i have heard a tc yet my buddy has a trinity on a ltr and it pushed a 112 db but ya no point in a loud pipe its gettin alot of places shut down and ya really giving quads a bad name

My Sparks was the loudest POS ever. Please don't buy a loud exhaust. I see your from Ohio and I don't want any more tracks shut down.

I bought the AMA legal white brothers. It sounds great compared to the Sparks.

Did i ever say it would help me ride faster? Uh i dont think so, so why did you even say that.I just want a loud pipe because i want to have people hear me from a mile away, and i need a pipe and i perfer a loud one

I was behind a quad with an n-motion at the track. And it just plain sucked! lol, it was to damn loud, and definetly was louder than a tc shortie from riding on a quad behind it.

The tc you never realy get in the direct path of. as where the n-motion shoots directly at your chest.


loud pipes save lives in all, but after a while I dont mine peace and quiet. I would still have the stock scilencer if it dident hold back so much power.

Trinity pipes for the 450r are not that loud!! The N-motion is the loudest Ive heard. Rossier is loud too. Sparks IMO sound the best especially on a (i hate to say it) on a yfz. I never heard a tc but they are short so they gotta be loud. I bet the Woods pipe would be loud too. I like my pipes loud.

Im getting ready to purchase either an Nmotion or Sparks. Does the Nmotion come with a quite(ish) core that I can put in when it gets close to deer season, or do they sell it seperate? Thanks!

Im gunna go with Nmotion. Yeah its loud, but i only Ride MX tracks and all the ones i ride at dont really seem to care. 109 db according to Nmotion. Oh yeah sorry i have one on a YFZ
