He was recently ticketed by police for not wearing a seatbelt because of a crash while driving 90+mph down the highway.

and how were we suppose to know that by just looking at the picture?

I'm sorry. It was only a Nationally covered "Breaking News" story for a few days. Here's a link to an article on the details.

And the irony ladies and gentlemen, are the seat belts at the bottom of the picture, if you all didn't notice...

That is ironic. I read an article about him today in the Times. He should get his license yanked but that won't happen.

I think he should get the $46 ticket and the trooper driving should've gotten a speeding ticket and a reckless driving ticket.
I have no problem with what they did but they did get "caught" so to speak.

Yeah I could have been a little more specific on that one. Sometimes I think too fast and my typing can't keep up.

It has been proven time after time that they save lives. I don't think it is a bad law. It is just like a helmet I don't know why people don't wear them.

i agree they save lives but you shouldnt get punished for not wearing one. Some states you dont have to wear a helmet witch is perfectly fine IMO

That's not the debate here but if you break the law you should be punished, it shouldn't matter who you are.
