I am getting ready to button up my motor within the next 5 days, it's an 06 450R.

I am gonna be throwing a 14:1 piston in there, I have +1 ex valves, stock intake, running a 04 crf cam, stock crank.

Should I throw a CRF gasket in there when I put the top end together? What will this do for compression/reliability? Is there a certain year I should get?

Yeah why the he!! not? You're already at 14:1, its not really going to make it less reliable. Just run the proper fuel and you'll be fine.
