wut is the best 300ex pipe out there is it hetrick, dg, i have no clue so can u ppl tell me which one or one u guys think it is and tell me also wut kind of power gains there r and top speed gains thanks

Everyone has their own opinion on pipes. A few popular ones are white bros. e-series, sparks, tc, yoshimura, hmf, LRD, pro circuit t4, and the hetrick is supposed to be good. Also, pipes don't add speed, gearing and bigger tires do.

All of the pipes GT300 stated, I lean to the yosh and sparks. But, if you get one, get a full system not just the silencer, new air filter(K&N or UNI) and mod. the air box to flow more air. That way you will see the best gain. Oh, I almost forgot you need to rejet the carb.

Big gun is the way to go. if you're a car guy lemme put it to you like this. You got a jet hot coated header and a glasspack, that's all there is to it. they just doctored it up with shiney aluminium to make it look nice (and they did a damn good job). Plus it sounds nice, where other pipes just make a lot of noise. Jet hot and glasspacks are a proven set up, I run them on my Firebird and on my quads.

yea man shut up, maybe not every one wants the biggest and so called baddest honda quad maybe we just want to have something for trails or to have reverse but i am sorry not everyone wants a 400

Okay. lemme just say that if you quadin400 were keeping your 400 i would race you on my 300ex. im 14 and weigh 125lbs at 5'9" tall. iv'e beat piped 400's around tracks and let me tell you i don't jump doubles yet. look to see what i have on it.

hey Krazykid i back you 100%. I think quaddin is just an old man with toooo much time on his hands so he has to come on here and diss peoples rides. I think he just needs to lay off before someone shows him up. We are not on here to make fun of other people, and brag that ur ride is better or faster. C'mon has some respect. first... quadin400-............ shutup!
and back to the pipe, go with a hetricks it has a ton of mid range gain and sounds sweet... plus it is only 330 bux and the service at hetrick is unbeatable i talked to the owner about jetting and stuff for about an hour before i even bought my pipe

anyhow, if you look up the dirtwheels site i beleive they gave a review of pipes, it might be for the 400 i forget. the diff in pipes is where its gonna make power, low-mid-high
some or louder than others and some are a little nicer looking depending on what your into. pretty much any pipe is gonna flow better than your stock unit. but some are really loud like the big gun (straight through pipes) and some are quieter like the yosh and e-series from wb.
i have a full e-series pro-meg on my 400. i have motor mods though thats why i went with the full system. plus the s-series is tunable by adding or subtracting discs.
also price is a factor

also price is a factor Yes... youi are VERy right about the pipe, the reason i chose my Yoshi, was because it gives evenly(well as close as it can) i didnt want no huge drops anywhere througout,especially for climbing..I am trying to talk my friend into one for his Raptor,it seems to be the best for it also
