Loose a-arms?

for my front end on my yfz, i have a stock set up minus the plus 1 steering stem, bars, and tires and wheels. however i can turn the handbars to the left or right ( say if i was to make a turn) and it has some play before it responds and makes the turn. nothing reallly dramatic just a pain in the ***** nd makes it feel cheap which i dont like. How could i fix this? thanks for the time guys.

check the tie rod ends. either they are lose or worn out. if its a low miles machine i bet they are loose.

also if your arms have play side to side grease them really well if you let the grease get low it creates slop in the front end. i bought a set of a-arm bushing and that was not my problem and they are not cheap.
