do you think you could polish the subframe or grab bar?Or do ya think it would rust to badly.Mine is in really bad shape as far as paint goes from learning to wheelie.And i want to do something with it that i can do myself.

I believe the frame is aluminum and aluminum doesent rust.

theres alot of rust on there now where the paint was scraped off from standing it up.I just wonder what i can do with it myself and not have to pay to get it powdercoated.

take it off....strip it and paint it. i did that to mine befor ei started powdercoating and it held up fine.

it will rust but if you clearcoat it you will have a better chance of it not rusting..im not sure how well it holds up though
