Starter went or not? need help!

well I went riding today and I get ready to start my bike then it keeps spinning and I was wondering what this is because I dont have alot of money to fix this but I think its the solenoid but I could be wrong but this only happens sometimes like when its really hot or been ridden alot like 3 hours strate but please help me out and give me prices if you can.

I seen you posted this over on the HQ to so i will just give you my opinion here. It sounds like it went to me. The sound is starter gear not being grabbed by the starter i doubt its the solenoid.

but see if the starter went I could not even start it by push starting it but it does work like that

ok I just been thinking that they had a recall but my local dealer didnt have any so I will call them tomorrow and tell them then I shouldnt have to pay for anythign will I but thanks guys

Well is the motor turning over.if so your stater should be ok.ck the spark,fuel,air.does the motor sound like it wants to start?
