major electrical problem---Help

I have an 05 kfx and when I turn the key on the front brake line get's smoking hot in a matter of seconds. Hot enough to melt the red coating off my brake line. I know it has to be electrical but does anybody have any idea where to start looking?

id assume the brake lines are hydraulic not electric now if your meanin the wire to your rear brakes from your front lever then id assume that your power wire is grounded somewhere and that would be melting it, only solution being find hte red wire follow it back till you find where its grounded and fix it.
